Anita Taylor is the Chief Financial Officer of the University of New England. She is a Chartered Accountant with qualifications in psychology and governance. Spanning over 25 years, her accounting career began in public practice. Ms Taylor has served on the Board of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (including as Acting Chair), chairing the Board Audit and Risk Committee for most of her tenure and is involved in the merino and agtech industries.

Ms Taylor has combined her finance, governance and psychology skills to add value to many organisations, including co-founding Red8 Produce, a startup in the meat processing industry. She is an experienced company director, having previously served on financial, education, sports administration, agricultural and development boards, including UNE’s controlled entities.
