Cheryl Hayman is a professional Non executive Director. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has over 20 years’ experience in Marketing in large, multinational consumer goods organisations. Cheryl has a comprehensive background within the B2B, B2C, ASX, retail, and NFP sector. This includes extensive global experience in assisting executives and C-suite leaders with the development and implementation of sustainable growth and business development strategies. Her corporate career spanned Unilever, Yum Restaurants and George Weston Foods across Australian, NZ, and the UK.

Upon leaving the corporate world, Cheryl started Hayman Strategy, a Strategic Marketing consultancy which she ran for many years while starting to develop a Board portfolio.

Today Cheryl holds NED positions on Clover Corporation, Shriro Holdings Ltd and HGL Ltd, all publicly listed companies, as well as Chartered Accountants ANZ . In 2019 she was selected as member of the Digital Experts Advisory Committee established by the Digital Technology Taskforce (announced by Australian PM, November 2019) with a mandate to steer Australia to leadership in the digital world economy by 2030.

Cheryl previously held Board roles on Women on Boards and Her Business, supporting and educating women to achieve greater professional success and presence.

In addition Cheryl serves on Peer Support Australia and the Darlinghurst Theatre Co. boards in the non profit sector. Cheryl has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and the digital economy as well as the development of diversity and inclusion to foster an organisation’s culture.
