Rebecca is an experienced member of the litigation team at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. Her practice has a particular focus on intellectual property and technology law, privacy law, competition and consumer law, media law and contractual disputes and she advises clients (ranging from individuals and small businesses to large corporations and public or governmental bodies) in relation to commercial dispute resolution and regulatory matters in all sorts of industries.

Rebecca was the 2021 President of the Law Society of South Australia, the peak body representing the legal profession in South Australia, and was the youngest person to hold the role in the organisation's history, as well as the first graduate of Flinders University to do so. In addition to her role now as Immediate Past President, Rebecca is also the former Chair and Deputy Chair of the Law Society's Legal Technology Committee, has sat on the Society's Corporate Governance Committee since 2011, and is a member of the Society's Ethics and Practice and Wellbeing & Resilience Committees.

Rebecca has been included in the 12th, 13th and 14th Editions of Best Lawyers™ Australia for Litigation, was recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in Intellectual Property, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law nationally in 2020, and awarded Most Influential Commercial Disputes Specialist (South Australia) in Acquisition International's 2021 Influential Businesswoman Awards.

Rebecca is a graduate fellow of the College of Law, having obtained her Master of Laws in Commercial Litigation there in 2015. She is a non-executive Board Member for the MS Society of SA and NT, was an inaugural member of the Flinders Law School Advisory Board, previously sat on the Board of Spence Club Inc and the Women Lawyers Association of South Australia, and is a co-founder of Women At The Table, a not for profit group established in 2017 to foster business and career opportunities for South Australian women.

Rebecca is a regular speaker and writer on legal issues, and also provides training in risk management and governance issues to clients, industry bodies and other professionals.
